We discovered this from practical experience and the Leslie Owner's Manual for Models 122 and 145 reinforced our findings.

The ORBITED skamp cabinet is an acoustic rotary cabinet. When we record our videos, we use mics placed right next to the camera. You don't see any mics close to our skamp cabinet in any of our videos. We are doing our best to give you a sense of what the skamp sounds like LIVE in a room.
